CoLA Seeking Volunteer Referral Attorneys
DENVER — Denver-based Colorado Lawyers for the Arts is seeking attorneys to volunteer for its 200-attorney referral panel.
The panel assists needy artists and arts organizations with legal issues. The artists and arts groups must qualify under CoLA’s financial guidelines, and their cases are reviewed for merit by a referral subcommittee.
Volunteering for CoLA’s referral panel is a worthwhile endeavor that has benefited Colorado’s arts and arts organizations since 1979. In many cases, the services donated also allow lawyers to qualify for Colorado continuing legal education credits.
