Colorado Creative Industries doles out nearly $1 million in grants

Colorado Creative Industries unveiled 132 grants to the tune of $922,000 for arts organizations and government agencies across 32 Colorado counties, The Denver Post reports.

Colorado Creates, the agency’s largest grant program, is a lifeline for frequently cash-strapped nonprofit cultural organizations and government agencies producing and presenting arts and cultural activities. Each of the 132 organizations received between $4,000 and $10,000.
