Representative Pushes for Obama Portrait in Colo. Capitol
If House Majority Leader Paul Weissmann gets his way, Barack Obama will be the next U.S. president to get his painted portrait hung in a third-floor gallery of the Colorado Capitol, The Denver Post reports.
Weissmann, a Louisville Democrat who is leaving office this year because of term limits, is organizing the effort to raise $10,000 to have an artist paint the portrait.
