Ritter Signs Bills to Spur Movies, Art, Theater
Gov. Bill Ritter signed into law a trio of bills Tuesday that supporters say will help to create jobs in Colorado’s creative industries, The Denver Business Journal reports.
The signings come one day after Ritter inked a number of new laws increasing regulation on the insurance industry — bills that opponents had warned would raise the cost of insurance and cause small businesses to drop coverage and, consequently, cause some job losses in that industry.
